"I LOVE them! My doctor said to always wear them during takeoff and landing because of the pressure. They sound incredible too."

BIOGRAPHY:Max Viana was born in Rio de Janeiro in 1973, son of the well-know Brazilian music male singer Djavan. National Pop would be the best term to define the style of Max’s new album, but the best is not to label it. “Brazilian music is very flexible and I tried to take this to my new album”, explains Max Viana.
His musical influences range from soul music, samba and MPB to the Spanish’s Flemish music. “Some of my references are veiled on the songs, may be unnoticeable for some, but they are there”, says the artist.
The album name, Com Mais Cor, explains one of the personal characteristics of the singer, and also an object of his own work, that is entertaining the audience. “I want to express joy with my music, a more optimist view”, he says.
Max’s musical quality would be enough to give this work an excellent musical finishing, but to get even more respect, he gathered with top-of-the-line musicians during the recordings, like João Viana (drummer), André Vasconcellos, Marcelo Mariano, Sérgio Carvalho (bass players), Renato Fonseca (piano player), Marcelo Martins (sax/soprano), Vinicius Rosa (guitar player) and Vivi Vigiolatto (singer), besides the partnerships with icons of the national musical scene.
In the track Sussurro, Max partners with Jair Oliveira, and it’s not the first time they worked together, Jairzinho had already participated on the first album of the artist, and they had played and written together before on songs for singer Luciana Melo. Diz que sim, which lyrics were a present from Guilherme Arantes, is an original partnership. “I’m a Guilherme Arantes’ fan, it was a great honor”, Max declares.
The innovative song Vilarejo is a partnership of Max Viana, Happin Hood and Djavan, and it’s a perfect combination between MPB and Rap, with a very jazzy clime.
Samba is also present on Você não entendeu. To give more authenticity to the song, Max invited musicians that had played with Arlindo Cruz exclusively to play on this track: Fred Camacho (cavaquinho and banjo), Nenê Brown (tan tan and repique de anel), Miudinho (pandeiro and tamborim), Pretinho (repique de mão and cuíca). And, for a more casual clime, the female vocals were made by Max’s and the other band member’s wives: Ana Madalena (Max), Georgiana Asfora (João Viana), Larissa Asfora(Vinicius Rosa) and Chris Alessandra (Renato Fonseca) (vocals).
