James Gebhard, sound engineer
"Why on earth would a Front of House engineer want a set of molded UE-10 monitors??? Well, my UE-10's allow me to hear EXACTLY what is happening , so much so, I can happily stand there and mix a show on them. For me they are far better than any near field monitor you could possibly use in a live situation as the clarity is unreal."

Audiologist Instructions

Ultimate Ears hand-makes every custom personal monitor to perfectly fit your ear. In order for us to do this, you will need to schedule an appointment with a trained audiologist to make impressions of your inner ear. We use this impression to build a unique speaker casing that completely mimics your ear.

After your impressions are complete, you will need to send the impressions to us before we can begin manufacturing your new personal monitors.

Instructions For Your Audiologist Appointment

  1. Find an audiologist that is familiar with the process of making an open mouth impression, full shell with a CIC canal. If the audiologist isn’t familiar with the process, Ultimate Ears recommends finding another audiologist.
Call and make an appointment once you’ve found a suitable audiologist.
  1. For your appointment, please print out the ear impression instructions for your audiologist as a helpful guideline.
  1. Upon completion of the ear impressions the audiologist will give you your ear impressions in a small box. Please place your order confirmation and ear impressions in a suitable box that will protect the impressions while in transit.
  1. Ship your order confirmation and ear impressions to the following address.
